On a sweltering mid summers day 15 members of the West Parley Gardening Club were invited to visit Knoll Gardens. After a very wet spring followed by glorious sunshine the gardens were at their summer best. Primarily grasses but also many specimen trees looking splendiferous. After spending an enjoyable time exploring the gardens, we headed to the neighbouring Brothers Farm Flowers for drinks and cake. Over the last 7 years they’ve turned the 60 year old nursery into a new cut flower & organic blueberry farm. Refreshments are served in a covered barn adorned with a multitude of drying flowers hanging from the beams. All our members voted it a very pleasant way to spend a summer’s afternoon – thanks to Knoll Gardens for extending the invitation to us.
